I'm a few days away from tech for "Self Made Man: The Frederick Douglass Story" and working on creating the main focal point of the set, which is a large tree from which most of the show's costume pieces hang.

We had a lot of fun figuring out how to construct it - but of course all our planning in the logistical phase went out the window once we walked into Lowe's.  We found the porch column first, then the conduit (and our favorite new toy - conduit bender!!! :) and from there the tree of life started to take shape!
